Calling all developers! Extra, extra, read all about it! The Appulous V2 API is finally here!

Developers can use this new API to have their applications read any data from Appulous and submit any data to Appulous. Right now it's just links that you can submit, but once V2 grows and supports reviews, comments, cheats, and more, the API will be capable of submitting those too.

If you're not a developer, then this won't mean much to you -- you can't use the API. Well, at least not directly, because you'll certainly reap the benefits of the API once developers start releasing cool new apps that interface right in with Appulous :) I've already heard some pretty cool plans!

I'll stop here because the docs say pretty much everything there is to say :) To read the docs, you'll need to be signed into your Hackulous account. I'll move these to the actual Appulous site once V2 goes live, but until then this forum is a really good way to keep things organized. Have at it!

Wouldn't work, you need an itunes link, but good thinking.

Actually though Kyek, SaladFork had an idea using my CrazyUp thing though...
When I get the Dev badge (I'm really pushy about that part :D ),
CrazyUp, or the bulk of it, will be implemented in Crackulous, and because Crackulous will know the link of the app (stated in iTunesMetadata.plist as far as I know), it will crack, upload, then add to appulo.us, all automatically :thumbup:

These are his words:
It will be so easy your great grandmother can do it!

So yah, this API will definitely be used by either me or SaladFork, i don't know yet. SaladFork still has to find something to code on.

Perhaps a redesign of Appulous would be nice too! :) Maybe a competition or something?

I think Kyek stated this along time ago when he was talking about V2, when the full V2 comes it will have a redesign, this is just the core.

Oh and Kyek, when you get a chance, you could whitelist http://crazyapps.net/, people can't post their links to appulo.us. And it doesn't have the download error anymore, I double checked the download ipa's md5 sums to the original.

BTW: me BoatHouse, im trying to upload apps but i get.
