With the iPhone Dev Team's recent release of the OS 3.0-enabled PwnageTool for Mac, all attention has turned here for news about how this will affect the *ulous tools and services. I'm proud to announce that everything is in ship-shape!

The only change is how you sync your iDevice with iTunes. So here's some large colored letters for you ADHD folk who won't read these tiny black ones:

miPatch WILL NOT WORK on OS 3.0! Do NOT install it!

Instead, install AppSync for OS 3.0. It has the same effect as miPatch: you'll be able to sync your apps to and from iTunes. But it's made specifically for OS 3.0. You can find this in our regular Cydia repo.

A *HUGE* thanks to Reilly for this release!

Can't find it, or getting a mismatch error? Just go to the "Changes" tab in Cydia and press the "Refresh" button at the top of the screen.

All other Hackulous products and services should be working without a hitch. Installous is running great, and the grand majority of cracked apps on Appulous will run on 3.0 without any extra work on your part.

Enjoy!
Kyek

-------------------
AppSync Changelog:
v1.1:
- Changed to Reilly's patch. This patch changes only one instruction in the installd file, and should be safer than 1.0.

v1.0:
- First version of AppSync, using samtheman's installd patch.

Current Crackulous should work on 3.0. At least no one has told it doesn't.
But for Crackulous 1.0, that's SaladFork's thing.

AppSync doesn't have an impact on that ... more likely, you installed something from Cydia that uses MobileSubstrate. Or maybe a bad winterboard theme?

Those of you who were experiencing the "corrupt archive" error earlier: Refresh your sources and re-install :) The issue has been fixed.

It fails to install here. I do not have Cydia installed, only Icy. Is there a dependancy missing?

I had the corrupt archive problem, messed up my iphone, couldn't start it.
Wish I had waiting an hour or so before installing.
Now I am doing a factory restore.
