Those of you on the 3.1 or 3.1.1 firmwares: be grateful! AppSync has just been updated for the new firmwares. You can now install, sync, and manage your cracked apps just as before!

You can thank Reilly for this new version of AppSync, as before! You can grab a copy from the repo after jailbreaking.

Note #1: there are two versions of AppSync on our repos. AppSync for 3.0 and AppSync for 3.1. Also, miPatch has been discontinued from the repos.

Note #2: Our repo is http://cydia.hackulo.us/ and NOTHING ELSE. If you are getting a 404 error or a size mismatch, please readd the source in Cydia and be sure you are putting http://cydia.hackulo.us/

Genius's Explanation of AppSync Packages

Hey guys, just wanted to make sure that both packages are explained carefully,

AppSync for OS 3.1 = For iPhones and iPods with Firmware 3.1
- is version 1.0, because it has just been newly released for the 3.1 Firmware
AppSync for OS 3.0 = For iPhones and iPods with Firmware 3.0 or 3.0.1
- is version 1.1 because 1.0 is updated

Like TDDebug said, I implemented a feature where you're only capable of installing the correct AppSync version, so there's no worries about installing the wrong version. If it doesn't work, try the other version.

There are two appsyncs in the repos:

AppSync for 3.1
AppSync for 3.0

You will not be able to install the 3.0 one if you're on 3.1, and vise-versa. To avoid confusion we've added pre-depends on the packages for those firmwares so people wont mistakenly install the wrong AppSync.

Also, we've discontinued miPatch on the repos. So long!

I have a question.. It was listed as a "feature" of OS3.1 that cracked apps would be "disabled" or whatever.. So this AppSync 3.1 will permanently bypass that? Or is there anything else we have to do?

Yes you do.

Jailbroken 3.0 = AppSync 3.0

Jailbroken 3.1 = AppSync 3.1

Im new to this site so I hope Im doing this the right way. I am also getting the 404 error. Does anyone know what the issue is? I am trying to install 3.0. I had it before I upgraded, so I downgraded my firmware and jailbroke my ipod again but can't get appsync loaded. Thanks
